Sponsorship Opportunities
In order to keep the symphony affordable, ticket prices are set to cover only about 30% of the cost of performances. Even selling out the entire house at each of our concerts, leaves us needing to raise 70% of the cost from other sources. Our sponsors and donors are vital to our ability to operate the Symphony and continue to bring live symphonic music to local audiences. We cannot thank our supporters enough, as it is their generosity that makes it possible to sustain and improve the Symphony.
Available at the beginning of 2007, the Symphony commissioned a beautiful donor recognition board. It is a visually exciting and impressive exhibit that publicly acknowledges our vital supporters. This donor board will be proudly and prominently displayed at the Washington Center during Symphony performances as well as at other Symphony events throughout the season. We are thrilled to be able to recognize businesses who give over $1000.
Concert Sponsorships
The arts play a significant role in the quality of life in any geographic region. National Public Radio's Susan Stanburg said, "orchestral music is, certainly, the ultimate form of community." We agree! We urge corporations to join OSO as a concert sponsor and show support for Olympia's arts and cultural community.
Special Event Sponsorships
In addition to our regular concert series, Olympia Symphony Orchestra is pleased to present a number of special events throughout the season--Celebrate the Symphony, our annual Symphony Gala; an annual free concert held in a local outdoor venue and our annual Fashion Show. Each of these events provide additional sponsorship opportunities.
Education
We take the "educate" part of our mission very seriously. The best way to secure the future of the symphony is to educate and involve a growing student population. Our program to sponsor junior patrons at our live performances is essential for the future of our orchestra. This donor driven program needs your support to continue.
